A design can be inspired by just about anything. Rani Vogue was inspired by its fabric! We had some thai silk samples that we often admired. We asked our vendors to create two tone thai silk without the fuss of it. Ta Da our two tone blend of Indian Rawsilk and Cotton was born and it is GLORIOUS. Olive and plum - not a traditional combination - but it feels like this fabric, with its black undertone, was made for these colors.

The shirt features hand appliques in shades of chai, maroon and burnt orange on the side panels and sleeves. We are obsessed with the shirt divisions - painstakingly embroidered with black and white appliques. Don’t miss this: the shirt and azaar are finished with tiny monochrome diamond appliques. The dupatta in a thick cotton net has been meticulously finished over months - fabric manipulated into samosas, as we call them, run in a criss cross pattern all over its length. Its perfect to be wrapped around or draped on the side.

Our 6th reveal Shabo in a never-seen-before blueish grey is exquisite! The shirt and azaar are in our custom developed two tone blend of Indian Rawsilk and Cotton - perfect for all your Winter Festivities. Its entirely hand appliqued with ivory appliques and fully embroidered in anchor featuring a statement cutwork hemline. It has then been hand embroidered with a hundred sheeshas (the real thing, not panni). The sleeves are meticulously finished with cascading custom laces. The sheesha finish is appliqued on the azaar hem. The gorgette chiffon dupatta has a 4 sided embroidered border with a lace detail.
