On 20th November 2024, Delta Garments Ltd. hosted a Breast Cancer Awareness Seminar. Dr. Shamsa, a distinguished gynecologist from Texas, led the session, focusing on the importance of early detection and general health care. She emphasized monthly self-examinations as an essential practice for early detection. She also stressed on maintaining a healthy lifestyle to prevent breast cancer.

One of the day's highlights was hearing from Khalida Parveen. Her story is one of true resilience—starting her life as a maid with no formal education, she now proudly watches all six of her daughters, university graduates, thrive. Her eldest daughter, Humaira Anwar, has even founded a school where 25 children receive free education, symbolizing the empowerment we aim to foster.

We also had the pleasure of hearing from Aisha Iqbal, former MPA, who eloquently discussed the essential roles that education and healthy relationships play in our lives. Additionally, we would like to thank Anum Mir and Omera Anwar for reminding us of the strength we have when we support and uplift one another as women.

In addition to the seminar, we provided free mammograms not only to our female employees but also to family members of our male colleagues, extending our health initiatives further. We also offered general health check-ups for all employees and wrapped up the day with free medicines, supplements, and gifts.

At Delta Garments, our commitment to health goes beyond the workplace—we're a community that cares deeply about empowering and educating each other. Let's keep this spirit alive and continue to make a difference wherever we can.

The joy of working with our budding youngsters is unparalleled. We always receive more than we give. The joy, enthusiasm and positive energy is contagious. And don't we all need it. Delta garments donated 20 fruit trees to TAC school for the less privileged. Also donated were vegetable and flower saplings. The children planted the trees themselves and were beyond excited to take care of them. Working towards a better future. One tree at a time🌳🌴🌵🌿☘️🪴🌲
