Clothes dryers: from the first machines to solar panels
Ross Moore, the inventor of the automatic drying machine, began working on his idea back in the 1920s. But he managed to create a truly functional dryer only in 1938, using the facilities of the Hamilton Manufacturing Company (Two Rivers, North Dakota, USA). The drying machine entered the market, but the price for it, frankly speaking, "bit". By 1950, it gradually dropped to $1,600 in a modern way. By that time, dryers had already appeared in 10% of residential buildings in the United States.
Automatic drying machines are divided into two types. Machines with a centrifuge use centrifugal force and wring out clothes in minutes, but do not dry them 100%. Drying cabinets use heated air and work slower, but dry clothes to the end. According to the type of moisture removal, there are condensation dryers, in which things are blown with dry air, and moisture enters the condenser, and ventilation ones, which emit moist air outside and take dry. But of course, cars are not without flaws, which has always inspired the search for new ideas.
