A one-of-a-kind bespoke creation. The Divine Embrace Set, made entirely by hand for a client. This bespoke design captures the sacred tenderness of Our Lady and Baby Jesus, reimagined through couture craftsmanship and modern streetwear artistry.

The gilet is constructed from premium black waterproof nylon, lined with 100% cotton for comfort and breathability. Lightly padded with luxurious insulating wadding, offering warmth without weight, refined rather than bulky. It features a double-ended zip, twin chest pockets, jet pockets and precise topstitch detailing, showcasing clean construction and an impeccable silhouette.

The shorts mirror the same craftsmanship, fully lined in cotton for structure and ease. Every edge is professionally bound and finished, maintaining a seamless interior and sleek outer profile.

The highlight of the set a woven tapestry panel portraying Our Lady cradling Baby Jesus alongside a delicate cherub brings depth, reverence, and artistry to each piece. Carefully aligned to preserve symmetry and narrative flow, transforming the set into a wearable devotional artwork.

S.T: What is your main objective with Alves? Is it your true purpose?

J.A: I feel that with my true life purpose and my objective with Alves, is to simply give.
And when I give, I’m not talking about a product that will be good for one moment and gone the next. I’m talking about giving a part of me with this product, my heart, my soul comes with. For my objective, my goal is for the product to completely outlive my existence here on earth. I am a story teller and with all the pieces I’ve ever created, they’ve come with a story, passed down with a new extended story from the consumer to the next and so on….
For example my memory bear service is a great contribution to my act of giving, for one to give me their sentimental clothing from a loved one in their life who has passed. To trust and build a new connection with me, share memorable stories and then for me to reconstruct this into a timeless bear, shares a sincere deep-ful meaning of giving for me.

S.T: Where do you look for creative inspiration?

J.A: I do not look, I just feel.
From Aldous Huxley, this quote has been installed in me for many years
‘’ Experience is not what happens to a man; it is what a man does with what happens to him.’’
So the creative inspiration lays with my personal interactions with life. The joy, pleasures, the sorrow, the hurt, the emotions I feel. And we can not forget our great history and understanding all cultures, the past is who we are today. All of this information I keep is developed and transformed in a creative way. It’s my healing.

You have to have a personal meaning to everything you do and question is it real. And believe.
