Some of the most interesting conversations never happen in meeting rooms.
Yesterday, I brought together a small group of remarkable women at the Caffè Eleventy Lisboa for the first of what I hope will become a regular series of lunches curated by Lisbon Art Office.
Different backgrounds. Different nationalities. Different industries. One common denominator: curiosity, intelligence, generosity and the willingness to share ideas, experiences and perspectives without agendas.
Around the table were architect Cristina Santos Silva, Lurdes Cabral, owner of Eleventy Lisboa, real estate expert Sofia Gouveia, publisher Simone Pontes, floral artist Sara Leitão, and myself.
The lunch was prepared exclusively by the Caffè Eleventy team, a bespoke experience that can also be created for private groups, collectors, brands or special occasions.
There could hardly be a more fitting setting. Beyond fashion, Eleventy Lisboa has established itself as a place where culture naturally belongs. The historic Almada Negreiros panels, integrated into the boutique, remind us that art should be part of everyday life, of conversation, of hospitality and of the way we meet.
That is precisely the spirit behind this initiative: creating a space where ideas circulate freely, where meaningful connections are built, where knowledge is shared with generosity, and where business, culture and friendship coexist around the same table.
Because the best networks are not built by collecting contacts. They are built by bringing the right people together.
This was only the first lunch.
Thank you all for accepting the invitation and for making the conversation as inspiring as the company.
