Troficolor is a family business, founded in the middle of the last century by Mr. José da Costa Pereira Serra, father of the current CEO, Mr. Carlos Serra, and has more than 65 years of experience in the market. Headquartered in the North of Portugal, in the heart of the textile industry, Troficolor has been developing and adapting to the growing demands of the sector, namely, with regard to the theme of sustainability. Currently, we are reference partners in the Denim market and we have been expanding our range of articles, placing greater emphasis on the development of Eco-friendly fabrics, with over 60% of the articles we present in the new SS22 collection being sustainable and supported by the following certifications: GOTS / OCS, GRS / RCS, BCI and OEKO-TEX. [eng] The iconic colorful stripes of Costa Nova, in Ílhavo, provided the perfect backdrop for David Catalán’s fashion show, part of the latest Portugal Fashion Experience.

At the designer's invitation, we witnessed firsthand how Troficolor fabrics came to life in a vibrant collection inspired by vintage life jackets. Featuring a striking palette where navy blue and beige tones took center stage, our fabrics made their way down the seaside runway with unique energy.

It is a privilege for us to support such talent and see our raw materials transformed into garments of such boldness and sophistication.
