What’s the difference between our Orkan and Hurricane swimsuits? 🤔

🩱 Our Orkan is a swimsuit with a built-in bra and a beautiful open back. We absolutely love the crossed straps and we’ve refined the back cut-out even more compared to our previous Orkan styles. Thanks to the built-in bra, it’s also a great choice for women with a larger bust.

🩱 Our Hurricane features a high neckline and offers an amazing fit, but without a built-in bra. It provides excellent support for all kinds of water sports.

Jocy prefers the Hurricane for kitesurfing because she feels completely secure and supported in it. But honestly, both styles offer incredible support and allow you to move freely in the water without the suit shifting out of place. ✨

In a world that never seems to slow down, switching off can feel harder than ever. There’s always another notification, another task on the to-do list, another screen asking for our attention. 🤯

Yet the moments that stay with us are often the simplest ones - when we stop thinking about what’s next and become fully present in what is.
For some, that means getting into the ocean. Surfing, kiting, swimming, feeling the water and the wind.
For others, it might be a yoga session, a long walk without headphones, a quiet moment with a good book, or even just sitting still and doing absolutely nothing.

There’s no right way to switch off. What matters is finding those moments that bring you back to yourself. Moments where your mind becomes a little quieter and your attention returns to the present.

Back in 2017, our founder Jocy was searching for the perfect sports bikini for her kitesurf trip to Brazil, but couldn’t find one that truly fit her needs. So she decided to create it herself, and that’s how Josea Surfwear was born: sustainably made swimwear designed to last. 🤙🏼

And as you can see in the photo, she was absolutely thriving in it! Believe it or not, she still owns and wears bikinis made back in 2017. 😍

Because long-lasting clothing isn’t just better for us. It’s also better for our beloved planet. 🌊

The ocean produces more than half of the oxygen we breathe, regulates our climate by absorbing vast amounts of heat and CO₂, and provides food and livelihoods for billions of people around the globe.

Yet this extraordinary ecosystem is under growing pressure. Rising temperatures, ocean acidification, overfishing, deep-sea mining, and the constant flow of plastic and chemical pollution are threatening the very waters that sustain us.

It is a reminder that the ocean is not just a place we visit, surf, or admire. It is our life support system.
Protecting the ocean means protecting biodiversity, coastal communities, future generations - and ultimately ourselves.

May we never lose our sense of wonder for the underwater world, and may that wonder inspire action. 💪🏼

Both our tops are perfect for movement because they’re designed like a sports bra. Whether it’s surfing, yoga, tennis, running, or any other activity, they’re true all-rounders that offer comfort and support. 💪🏼

But what’s the difference between our One Eye Top and Cloud Nine Top?

👙 The One Eye Top features crossed straps at the back, giving it slightly more support. Our tip: if you want a more even tan, you can simply pull the straps down while sunbathing for softer tan lines.

☁️ The Cloud Nine Top has a beautifully rounded back cut-out. Especially if you’re spending the whole day at the beach, it creates a cleaner and more flattering tan line thanks to the open-back design.

If someone is strong, talented, or impressive, then they are simply strong, talented, and impressive. Adding “for a girl” only diminishes the effort, skill, and achievement behind it.

Women are just as disciplined, tough, and brave as men - sometimes even more. ✨

Let’s normalize complimenting women without backhanded qualifiers. And let’s call out sexist stereotypes when we hear them. ✊🏻
