: A NEW ARTISTIC JOURNEY BEGINS.

Some collaborations happen because they make perfect strategic sense. Others because they simply feel right.

We’re delighted to welcome Vanessa Teodoro to the Lisbon Art Office Circle.

Recognised for her distinctive visual language and for building a remarkable career across contemporary art, public art and collaborations with international brands, Vanessa continues to challenge the boundaries between artistic practice and creative industries.

Over the coming months, we will be working closely together on the strategic direction and executive management of her forthcoming solo exhibition, an intimate yet universal reflection on memory, femininity, craftsmanship, nature and transformation.

But this is only the beginning.

From a new exhibition to future editions, conversations, collaborations and projects, there is much more to discover.

Follow this journey with us.

Save this post and turn on notifications so you don’t miss what’s coming next.

See you soon.

Vanessa Teodoro

: ART CONSULTANT
The second work by Manuel Caeiro is now on display in the window of JLL Residential Portugal, marking another step in a project that extends well beyond the placement of contemporary art within a commercial environment.

Art consultancy is about creating the right connections.

It begins with understanding a client’s identity, values and ambitions, identifying the artist whose work can genuinely reflect that vision, and developing a dialogue that allows both to strengthen one another through authenticity, cultural relevance and shared purpose.

For a premium brand, contemporary art becomes far more than an aesthetic statement. It becomes a strategic asset, shaping perception, enriching the client experience and reinforcing a distinctive market position.

For the artist, these collaborations open new contexts in which the work can be encountered and appreciated by audiences who may not otherwise engage with contemporary art, broadening its visibility while preserving the integrity of the artistic practice.

This is the value of art consultancy: building lasting relationships between artists, brands and audiences, where culture becomes a driver of identity, differentiation and long-term value.

This is an ongoing art consultancy project conceived and developed by Lisbon Art Office for JLL Residential Portugal, exploring the role of contemporary art as an integral part of the experience, identity and positioning of a premium brand.

: ART CURATION
Some of the most important moments in curating happen long before an exhibition is announced.

They begin in artists’ studios.
In conversations.
In shared curiosity.
In the space where different practices, perspectives and sensibilities first meet.

This week was about creating that space.

No announcements yet.
No previews.
Just the quiet work of bringing together the right people and allowing ideas to find their own rhythm.

The most meaningful collaborations are rarely designed overnight. They are built through dialogue, trust and time.

Something is taking shape.

Some of the most interesting conversations never happen in meeting rooms.

Yesterday, I brought together a small group of remarkable women at the Caffè Eleventy Lisboa for the first of what I hope will become a regular series of lunches curated by Lisbon Art Office.

Different backgrounds. Different nationalities. Different industries. One common denominator: curiosity, intelligence, generosity and the willingness to share ideas, experiences and perspectives without agendas.

Around the table were architect Cristina Santos Silva, Lurdes Cabral, owner of Eleventy Lisboa, real estate expert Sofia Gouveia, publisher Simone Pontes, floral artist Sara Leitão, and myself.

The lunch was prepared exclusively by the Caffè Eleventy team, a bespoke experience that can also be created for private groups, collectors, brands or special occasions.

There could hardly be a more fitting setting. Beyond fashion, Eleventy Lisboa has established itself as a place where culture naturally belongs. The historic Almada Negreiros panels, integrated into the boutique, remind us that art should be part of everyday life, of conversation, of hospitality and of the way we meet.

That is precisely the spirit behind this initiative: creating a space where ideas circulate freely, where meaningful connections are built, where knowledge is shared with generosity, and where business, culture and friendship coexist around the same table.

Because the best networks are not built by collecting contacts. They are built by bringing the right people together.

This was only the first lunch.

Thank you all for accepting the invitation and for making the conversation as inspiring as the company.

: A NEW CHAPTER: JLL Art Route arrives in Estoril.
Following Lisbon, the programme continues with a new chapter at JLL Residential Estoril, featuring two works by Manuel Caeiro. Each location develops its own dialogue between contemporary art, architecture and the experience of place.

At Lisbon Art Office, we believe art should be integrated with intention. Every work is selected in response to its environment, creating meaningful connections between people, architecture and the identity of each location.

The JLL Art Route is an evolving programme that brings together different destinations, different contexts and different artistic perspectives, demonstrating how contemporary art can become part of the experience of a place rather than simply occupying it. More chapters will follow.

One programme. Different places. Distinct identities. Connected through contemporary art.

: ART AS A SERVICE

🇬🇧 The most compelling spaces are defined by how they make people feel.

From hotels and offices to luxury brands and commercial environments, art has become a language of positioning, differentiation and identity.

At LISBON ART OFFICE, this is precisely where we operate: where culture meets business, where heritage engages with contemporaneity, and where art creates value beyond aesthetics.

From the legacy of Almada Negreiros to projects currently in development, we continue to build meaningful connections between brands, spaces, people and culture.

Because brands can be seen.

But the most relevant ones are remembered.

: ART & INTERIORS
Congratulations to Urbana Magazine on the successful first edition of PUDI26 at MAAT, Lisbon.

A special congratulations to all nominees and winners, including Atelier Fragmentos Arquitectura, Sidney Quintela Arquitetos, and Graça Viterbo for her Career Achievement Award.

The best interior architecture and design projects are no longer defined by space alone. Art has become a key differentiator, adding identity, narrative and value. This is where the role of the Art Advisor becomes increasingly relevant: helping transform great spaces into truly memorable ones.

: LITERATURA

Spaces can also become places of culture, dialogue and human connection. Thank you to everyone who joined us for this special evening.

: ARCOLisboa
A contemporary art fair is never just about the artworks.

It is about the conversations they generate, the ideas they challenge, the stories they reveal and the connections they create.

This week, Lisbon Art Office had the pleasure of leading a private curated visit to ARCOLisboa for JLL guests, exploring a carefully selected group of galleries, artists and artistic perspectives shaping contemporary culture today.

From historic figures to emerging voices, from Portuguese artists to international dialogues, the journey offered an opportunity to look beyond the artwork itself and into the ecosystems that sustain artistic creation, collecting and cultural relevance.

At Lisbon Art Office, we believe that art becomes most meaningful when it creates bridges — between people, disciplines, ideas and ways of seeing the world.

Thank you to JLL for once again recognising the value of art as a catalyst for meaningful experiences and lasting connections.

: ART MOVEMENTS
The most interesting art movements today are the ones creating unexpected connections.

Contemporary art inside jewellery universes. Art installations inhabiting hotel lobbies. New audiences naturally crossing paths through beauty, craftsmanship and experience.

Castilho Art Week reflects this cultural shift particularly well.

Proud to see Beatriz Horta Correia, part of The Circle by Lisbon Art Office, presenting sublime works within Alexandra Matias Jewellery.

Also recommending Miguel Rodrigues’s installation at the Ritz lobby.
