Someone asked me today where I want to be in five years.
A year ago, I probably would’ve said a big villa abroad.
Today, my answer was very different.
I want to build Forba into an infrastructure that supports 500 jobs here in Nelson.
Not 500 people all working under one roof.
I mean an ecosystem of businesses, operations, suppliers, services and opportunities that creates real employment for 500 people in this town.
500 people earning a wage.
500 opportunities that didn’t exist before.
500 reasons for talented people to see that they can build something here too.
Bold statement? Yes. But you’ve got to build towards something. Way too many people hate on where they live, but either never leave or never do anything to make it better.
We want to be part of changing that.
This is Nelson. This is our home.
And we’re here for the long run.
