I had the chance to revise pattern for this variant of the tie-bow oversized shirt while preparing it in ivory, for a very special lady. I worked more intentional with the pattern, documenting the process and all measurements in work, so I can finally add this pattern to my archive. I still want to try out some small changes in positioning the bow, some more volume of draped fabric.

The oversized shirt apparently is a simple shape. While working on the development of pattern and making a few tests I figured out step by step what I want from this shape. A stabil neckline, that holds everything in place, vertical falling and straight sewing lines, every edge of pattern pannels on the right place, so fabric feels falling in right place. No tension. The right amount of volume. Shoulder inclination compensating the absence of darts.
Still shaping this shirt, but I reached the basic construction I had in my vision.

It was on my bucketlist to play with tie bow details on the oversized shirt. After developing the pattern of the oversized shirt with the shape I was looking for, this tie bow shirt pattern was the first variant I made. This curiosity of mine is still in progress, I am working on some more variants to add to my archive.

The white striped shirt is one of my firsts variant of cut out shirt-dress. This dress is the first prototype and still needs adjustments but I felt the fitting comfortable and nice enough to share some pictures of it 🌞☀️
