A new name at Textura: timppierdut.ro , a Bucharest-based brand built around a seemingly simple object — the shirt.

Founded by Ariana Radu and Vlad Rahotă, Timp Pierdut works with deadstock fabrics sourced from local factory archives and surplus production from European fashion houses. Beautiful fabrics available in small quantities, turned into limited runs of exceptionally well-made shirts.

They chose the shirt for its versatility. They call it their work uniform — a familiar piece that changes with the person wearing it. Sleeves rolled up, a few buttons undone, worn formally or casually. The same object, transformed through proportion, fabric and the way it is worn.

We also like their pragmatic approach to making things. Working with existing fabrics isn't presented as a sustainability statement but, in their own words, as a matter of common sense. And being a Romanian brand, for them, isn't simply about being “made in Romania”, but about a way of thinking, designing and making things here.

Timp Pierdut is now at Textura.
The shirts are definitely worth trying on.
