Let me introduce myself: my name is Misa and I can create your dream modernized hanbok!
It all began with this crazy idea. My passion for Korean culture started in 2016, but the real story started in 2003, when I first watched my first KDrama, Jewel in the Place, on national TV. I was fascinated with their attire and with their food and dreamed of being able to go to Korea one day and wear the same clothes.
Since then, I felt drawn to the Korean attire, but never had any opportunity to wear something like that in my day to day life.
That's until one spring night, when I was thinking what to wear for a Kpop concert, that's when I realized that I could do some modifications and create a new outfit, a modern version that I could wear to multiple events and even to work.
The idea started small, but I continued to wear my durumagis (that's the Korean coat) to work or other events and people started asking if I would be willing to make something similar for them.
This journey started out of passion and it continues due to passion as the Korean traditional clothing can be modernized and worn in your day to day life.
