Family blankets!
Have you a special family memory? A wedding or other event to which special outfits were worn?
Preserve the memories and repurpose outgrown clothing by having a family memory blanket made!
Patches from the outfits can be used to create a snuggly blanket with family member initials on centre patches and wrapped round you when the cold sets in.

Memory bears are typically made from babies first or special clothing and blankets that enable you to wrap yourself up in those special times!

Prices vary depending on the items requested and any other special requests.

Soft Friends Hospital.

Prices vary based on friends needs.
Services available include repairs (seams or patches for overly loved friends), stuffing replacement where friends have lost just a little too much mass from all the loving, general maintenance of toys where they are being passed down or just need a little 'pick me up'.
Emergency call outs are available within commutable distance (not currently driving) for repairs where the friend and their child can not be parted for even an hour and child will be included in the care of the friend undergoing 'surgery'.

In the near future we will have a little 'ward' where bears can be tucked in by their child for their stay and collected from when ready for discharge.

Friends from our range will have certification entitling them to discounts on services required.

Work standards.

Everything is produced in a smoke free, animal free (apart from fish) home environment. All materials advertised as 'new' are bought and stored safely without contaminates and in the case where something needs to be washed it will be done without the use of detergents or softeners to reduce the risk of alergic reactions. No perfumes or other possibly irritants are used.

All items are tested for durability before being sent out, seams are checked over and, if not up to standard, either re-sewn or sections affected replaced.

Prices.

As everything is handmade, Prices will vary depending on the customers specifications. Premade items will have a fixed price that can act as a guideline and prices will be agreed before work can start.
Alternately if you have a fixed budget in mind we can talk and see what can be arranged to meet your needs.
My aim is to provide a service that is affordable as well as encouraging a 'buy once, love forever' ideology where special items are with you for as long as possible.

Renew, Reuse, Refresh.
With an emphasis on items that can grow with you and your family, I offer clothing that can be easily adjusted to growing children, repaired or repurposed for those things you just can not bear to be without.
Dresses with deep hems that can be let down, discounts on repairs and replacements where needed and 'memory items' which repurpose articles with special meaning into Memory bears or Memory blankets.
Our Bears come with a certificate to our Soft friends hospital which can be used for repairs, adaptations and 'refreshing' where filling is changed, eyes are 'tested' to ensure they are still as firmly attached (and replaced or secured as needed) and seams are tested and maintained as needed.

CE certification pending.
These soft friends are made from completely new materials as samples of friends that are available.
Each friend can be made in various fabrics and colours and will have a selection of outfits available.
Each friend recieves a certificate that offers a discount for 'hospital costs' (covering any repairs, renewals or refreshing needed for the lifetime of the bear).
