The day I pitched in Milan

One year ago, I was shortlisted for the R|Elanᵀᴹ Circular Design Challenge 2025 R|ELAN™️ CIRCULAR DESIGN CHALLENGE at FONDAZIONE SOZZANI

A year has passed since I presented 𝓣𝓱𝓮 𝓓𝓲𝓼𝓹𝓸𝓼𝓪𝓫𝓵𝓮𝓼 internationally for the first time. I had the privilege of presenting the project to an inspiring jury panel consisting of Andrea Rosso Elisa Pervinca Bellini Leila Palermo Mossi Traoré Sara Sozzani Maino

𝓣𝓱𝓮 𝓓𝓲𝓼𝓹𝓸𝓼𝓪𝓫𝓵𝓮𝓼 explores how discarded umbrellas can be transformed into high value fashion while questioning our relationship with waste, materials, and consumption. By recovering overlooked polyester waste streams, the project reimagines what already exists through circular design, craftsmanship, and innovation.

I’m happy to announce that 𝓣𝓱𝓮 𝓓𝓲𝓼𝓹𝓸𝓼𝓪𝓫𝓵𝓮𝓼 continue to evolve. A new chapter, 𝓣𝓱𝓮 𝓓𝓲𝓼𝓹𝓸𝓼𝓪𝓫𝓵𝓮𝓼: 𝓪𝓯𝓽𝓮𝓻 𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝓼𝓽𝓸𝓻𝓶, expands the project beyond fashion into community-led material recovery, environmental research, and participatory design.

Color of the year 2026 ☁️

is named Cloud Dancer by Pantone, the huge forecaster in color setting the annual trends directing fashion & interior design industries. The color of the year came along with quite some debate online.

As a kid I was told I was shy. I forgot my lines in the annual school play & left the stage w my teacher’s disappointment weighing on my back.

Ever since I started my own brand I became the person I had always been. I took the center space & unapologetically never blended in. Anymore.

MLì by SVENSSON is everything but a Cloud Dancer.

We say “Au revoir” 2025 Year of the Snake & looking forward to 2026 Year of the Fire Horse!
