Second Sunrise is a clothing store physically located in Stockholm, but with clients around the globe through our web-shop. We focus on products made to last, on high quality items that look better the more you wear them. Our mission is to find and offer smaller brands from all over the world that share our values when it comes to aesthetics and top notch quality. Our specialty is denim, but we al

so carry shoes and accessories that go well with your jeans. You will find a mixture of newly produced garments side by side with carefully selected vintage items. Although we definitely pay an hommage to craft and history our clear aim is a contemporary look – modern clothes with a heritage. We believe strongly in the idea that form should follow function and our genuine hope is that the items you buy from us will be part of your everyday life for years to come. You can rest assured that they are made to last – both in quality and style. We don´t care much for trends or what happens to be fashionable this specific day. In the back of the store we have a studio where we keep all our machines required to make a pair of jeans from scratch. Here we produce hand made garments in small scale under our brand Blue Highway Clothing – both of our own design and custom made. Besides sewing garments we repair denim and use our studio as a creative space where we have workshops and exhibit our garment collections. You are welcome anytime for a freshly made cup of coffee and we´ll be happy to share whatever we are up to at the moment.

1950’s Janesville Turnout Firmans Pants

New item added to our Archive. This is a 1950’s pair of Janesville Turnout Firemans Pants.
These heavy canvas, insulated, cinchback, snap buttoned pants are truly something.
We love all the details, we love the fit and we really like how contemporary they feel, even though
they are seventy years old.
These pants are not for sale, but they will be part of our Archive. If you have interest in viewing these, just let us know.
Rasmus took them for a little stroll. Together with the Brent Jacket from Bryceland’s, also wearing his Bright Shoemaker boots.

Last day in the store today! Seven years ago I was an intern. I learned so much about mendings and enjoyed my time here so I got hooked. I became an adult while working here. Thanks for all the conversations, laughs and friends (and fika omg), thanks for letting me mend so many of your favorite garments! Now I’m gonna continue sewing on other projects, I will still pop by the store occasionally. See you around,

Bryceland’s Emmeline Janet Jeans is and beautiful denim pant made to specifically fit women. However us guys in the shop have been eyeballing these jeans for awhile and after seeing our good friend whom works with Bryceland’s wear a pair. We took to action and Douglas put on a pair. We love it. Great fit! High and wide! Comfortable fabric and just great fit! Hope you like them too!

🧵Important announcement🪡

Our repair service will be put on hold for a while due to our amazing seamstress Norma moving on to new adventures. In order to let her mend those garments already in store before she leaves, we will not be handling any repair jobs from Tuesday 10th of February.

As many of you know, denim repairs has been an important part of what we do ever since our store was founded back in 2010. We sure hope that this service will be up and running soon enough, and will keep you posted! 🌞

For a long time coming, we have wanted to bring back small scale screen printing. The last time Douglas used the screen printing equipment was over 10 years ago.

For this first project we wanted to do something inspired by 70’s fantasy and roll playing books. We reached out to Fedja at Ruin Tattoo in Visby Gotland. He then created this very awesome motif. We are super stoked with his creation and this is our first batch we have printed.
We choose to print on the Warehouse & Co Ringer t-shirt because we think it matches the 1970’s vibe.
We also did a few simple tote bags. Perfect for your vinyls, groceries or just daily items.

We just received a Type 1 jacket from our friends at Sugar Cane. We wanted to show the jacket together with a Vintage original Levi’s type 1 jacket from our archive. We beleive it’s nice to show these side by side so that one can better understand and appreciate the garment and the history behind it. Please note that the archive garments are not for sale. But If you ever stop by the store and ask, we’ll be more than happy to show you parts of our archive.

We are so excited to finally have received the Brent horsehide leather jacket from ✌️😊

Made in Kanagawa, just outside of Tokyo, using a veg tanned black over brown horsehide, as the jacket ages it will uncover brown highlights. With solid brass zippers from Talon Japan and Bryceland’s original print rayon lining.

We have seen many fine leather jackets during our 15 years as a store but few have managed to impress us in the same way as the Brent jacket does. In addition to the leather being probably the finest you can find and construction that is second to none, it is first and foremost the fit that impresses us! Few brands dare to do what Bryceland’s does when creating a waist-short jacket that is just the perfect length to meet a pair of high-waisted trousers in an elegant way.

In our opinion, Bryceland’s masters the art of creating timeless elegant fits that are both flattering and comfortable to wear.
