Drawing inspiration from Foucault’s ideas about power, the brand explores the subtle, asymmetrical dynamics within intimate mentorships particularly the mother-daughter and coach-skater relationship. Inspired by the designers own experience as a figure skater labeled a “prodigy,” reflects on the pressures of perfection, discipline, and performance.

SFC [Incubator] and n has been awarded the Swedish Utmärkt Svensk Form 2025 for the collection “Conventional Collection 112409”. The award will be presented tonight at the Nationalmuseum in Stockholm by the Swedish royal Prince Carl Philip.

The jury motivation followed:
is redefining what fashion can be, breathing new life into existing garments and materials to create silhouettes that are both conceptual and wearable. With elements ranging from zipper dresses and shirt collars to corsets made of antique silver trays, the collection fuses the tailored with the spontaneous, the strict with the playful.

partnered up with Copenhagen-based analog photographer to release a limited-edition zine titled Salvaged Sentiments, sharing its name with Sundkler’s latest collection.

During the weekend, Sylvi Sundkler presented their collection during an event in Gothenburg. Built on the idea of homage and reinterpretation: vintage garments by Sundkler’s mother where transformed with digital prints and signature felting.
Captured through 32 analog photos in a Swedish cabin, the zine explored themes of friendship, solitude, and nostalgia.
