Småland, a province in southern Sweden, is well known for its widely spread forests and beautiful lakes. Throughout our history we've battled poverty and hard conditions. A lot of us left Småland. But for the ones who chose to stay, an important lesson was learned the knowledge that nothing is to be taken for granted. ents, As a result, people started mocking us for our "frugal ways". They even called us cheap. The Swedish translated word "Snål" came to define us. And it still does. But the meaning of that word is all misunderstood. We take pride in calling ourselves SNÅL. Contact: [email protected]
