There’s something deeply calming about Sungei Buloh.

It’s one of our favourite places in Singapore to slow down, breathe, and quietly decompress from the pace of the city. Just a short drive away, yet it feels worlds apart.

We love how alive it is — the mangroves, migratory birds, mudskippers, changing skies, and the gentle sound of waves lapping against the mangrove roots as the sun begins to set.

In a city so modern and fast-moving, places like this feel especially precious.

This piece is inspired by those quiet moments in the wetlands — stillness, light, and the beauty of biodiversity close to home.
