Glued and baked. That's vulcanisation — and it's the difference between a shoe that's assembled and one that's truly built.
Rubber is bonded to leather, then heat-cured under pressure, locking the sole and upper together with a hold that simply doesn't come from modern cold-cement methods. No shortcuts, no mass-production speed runs — just an old-school process that takes time because time is what makes it last.
