A relaxed, full-length skirt with a mid-waist in a gorgeous cold blue wash.

This skirt brings a relaxed silhouette and a breezy drape while keeping it classic and clean. Crafted from 11.5 oz rigid denim, in a 2/1 twill pattern, it’s lightweight but certainly not without personality. The fabric blooms in varying shades of cold, deep blue with crisp and strong, pronounced, fades that highlight the fabric’s texture. With great streakiness in the warp, the fabric flirts with a crosshatch pattern, which intensifies in the lighter shades of blue surrounding the more faded areas. Finished with orange thread and copper trims, the details add contrast but let the denim speak for itself.

The widest silhouette in the Omoto Denim lineup.

Inspired by tailor-made trousers, the pattern design is based on the structure of the human body. It combines a comfortable fit with a sophisticated silhouette.

Unsanforized (Shrink to fit) denim with one-wash processed.
Enjoy the unique texture of the fabric that retains the characteristics of cotton.

Fabric+
The warp is constructed with heavily textured long-slub yarns, while the weft incorporates nep yarns made from recycled cotton. This combination produces distinctive vertical fading over time, allowing the wearer to experience a unique aging process.

Dyeing+
Made using 100% pure indigo and traditional rope dyeing techniques. Although the surface of the thread is dyed blue, the core of the thread is not dyed. This “white core” contrast creates a beautiful aging effect as the garment is worn. It was created around 1990 and uses extra dark colors that create strong contrast fades.

Weaving+
Produced on “Toyoda” shuttle looms, the pioneering machines of Japanese denim weaving. The warp is woven under extremely low tension, resulting in a characteristic rough texture and depth of expression.

Celebrating 150 Years
GREENEBAUM BROTHERS Levi Strauss & Company obtained a patent for “Method of using metal rivets to reinforce clothing pockets” on May 20th 1873, 150 years ago. A year later, on August 25th 1874, Greenbaum Brothers, also located in San Francisco, received a patent for reinforcing stress points with leather. Until the 1890s, when the patent for rivets expired, Greenbaum Brothers’ pants were supplied as durable workwear throughout the mining-rich West and Midwest. Greenbaum Brothers will celebrate its 150th anniversary in 2024. They have recreated the original 19th century design, “Leatherbound Overalls,” and the original “Two-by-one Denim,” which stands out from the rest.

During World War II, the Type G-3A suit was adopted to reduce the G-forces exerted on pilots. The intense G-forces affect blood flow, causing blood to flow from the brain to the lower body, and if blood is lacking in the brain, the field of vision becomes pitch black, and eventually the pilot loses consciousness, resulting in a “G-lock” state. A suit was developed that tightly tightens the body with cords to prevent blood from flowing to the tips of the limbs. This bag was included to store the suit. The seams are carefully piped with time and effort, and the zipper uses a war-type TALON zipper. Although the capacity is compact, the transfer-type Air Force mark and the stencils that fill every corner show the pride of the Army Air Corps.
