Wool cover is a reusable diaper, which provides maximum savings for your wallet and at the same time the greatest comfort for your child.

A wool cover is a kind of diaper that isolates moisture from the body and at the same time allows delicate skin to breathe. It makes it perfect choice for the hot days.

You need no more than 3-4 wool covers for full time diapering. They need to be washed very rarely (unless soiled) and it is enough to air them on a daily basis. The wonderful cooperation of lanolin with wool will do all the work for you!

In addition, you will need
absorbent parts that will absorb impurities - it can be tetra, flats or a special insert made of natural materials. The choice is huge.

Why Pink Peony cloth diaper wool covers are cool?
1. The wool that we use is thin and feels more or less like silk - nice and cooling for the skin. In general it’s termoregulating so it will keep your baby’s bum cool down during hot days.
2. It’s perfect for day time.
3. For full time cloth diapering you need 3-4 covers and you can use them in rotation - just air dry between uses (unless soiled). This point is very important if you like minimalistic lifestyle. It helps to safe money and space in your drawers.
4. It’s antibacterial.
5. For the inside you can use any kind of inserts or flats. For fitteds you might want to size up the cover! Toddler size 10-17 kg is available at preorder (just send us private message or comment).
6. If you don’t want to, you don’t have to lanolin new cover. At least not Pink Peony one - it’s tested! It’s waterproof anyway! ***

Below you can find basics to do before you start cloth diapering:

🌸 Wash your inserts - new inserts needs to be washed up to 6 times to become fully absorbent. Put them on quick program, 60 degrees, with diaper detergent (and no softeners!). Remember: you can use your new inserts after 2 washes, just check the diaper more often. ☺️
🌸 It’s recommended for covers to be lanolized first so you might do the treatment before the first use. If you don’t have enough time - don’t worry, new wool has some lanolin on it already!
