Travel season can be one of the most exciting times for yoga teachers hosting retreats, but it can also be one of the busiest.
Between coordinating logistics, supporting students, holding space for others, managing schedules and travelling yourself, it’s easy to feel pulled in a hundred different directions. That’s why staying grounded is just as important as staying organised.
A few simple rituals to take with you:
🔮 Pack a favourite crystal as a reminder to pause and reconnect throughout the day.
🃏 Bring affirmation or tarot cards for a moment of reflection before leading a class or retreat experience.
🌿 Take a grounding scent with you, whether it’s an essential oil, balm or mist, to create moments of calm and help you pause, reset and reconnect throughout your day.
🧘 Keep your yoga mat close by, so you can carve out time for movement, breathwork and your own practice wherever you are.
When you’re holding space for others, don’t forget to create space for yourself too. The most powerful thing you can bring to a retreat isn’t perfection, it’s your presence.
