The Real view: “once upon a time..”

And honestly, this is the constant battle in my head.

Wanting to grow the business.
Wanting to create more.
Wanting to earn more.

But also wanting to slow down enough to actually enjoy these years with my girls.

Running a business from home isn’t always the dreamy work-from-home life you see online.

Sometimes it’s messy.
Sometimes I feel behind.
Sometimes I feel like everyone is moving forward while I’m just… here.

But then I look at this.

And I remember why I chose this life in the first place.

Busy Mat may be my business.

But being their mama is still my biggest job. 🤍

Teacher’s Day came around, and I wanted to make something a little more personal for my girls’ teachers. 🤍

So I started putting these together for them.
letting them pick the colours, letters and little details.

And because I know many of you are mums choosing gifts for your children’s teachers too, I thought, why not extend this little project to the Busy Mat community? 🥰

It’s not a new collection or a big launch
just something I’m making in small quantities, because I genuinely love the idea of children giving their teachers something they can say, “I chose this for you.”
