Seemingly easy instructions. Shorten hem and reduce sides of pants. The dark green pants were about 2-3 sizes larger.
The sides of dark green pants were reduced to where side pockets were.
Front of waistband was removed n shorten to required waist length.
Was very tedious to remove the hook n loop as they were bent into waistband. (Sorry, my English failing me here!)

The romper was way too tight. However, the embroidery on the sleeves are too pretty to throw away.
Had to buy similar material in stretch crepe; removed bottom and sewed new bodice in.
The top is saved!

Just my own fun project. Love rhe colours of the dress. But too tight and too short.
So lengthen using material cut from a dress which has similar colours to lengthen it.
And added bands to side seams and back centre seam to give more allowance!

Dress length at back was too long and back neckline was too low.
To make it more comfortable to wear, dress length is shorten and the cut off cloth is used to cover up the back neckline. Done!

Original cutting of front neckline was too low. Skirt hem was shorten and material was used to adjust low neckline. It was handsewn into the lining.
Shoulder straps were handsewn into required height.
Side open-ended zip was damaged and replaced with new one. The colour and exact length of open-ended zip is not available in Singapore.

A new silhouette of cut-in bodice seems simple but is complicated as the bodice is lined. I had to ensure the top and lining are as flat as possible.
New press studs at zip opening allow for easier dressing.
