What you're watching is sped up 10×.
The actual assembly for just one side takes about five minutes.

It isn't because it's difficult in a dramatic way. It's all the tiny things that quietly slow the process down.
The wire has to be inserted at just the right angle into a tiny hole. The clay is fragile, so I can't force it. Sometimes the pliers slip. Sometimes I have to remove everything and try again.

None of these moments are exciting enough to notice...

But together, they're what handmade really looks like.
