Sometimes, improving mobility starts with one small adjustment.
Recently, we at The Prosthetic Company were invited to set up a pop-up booth at Yong-en Care Centre’s Strong & Healthy Fiesta, supported by FairPrice Foundation.
At our booth, we introduced elderly participants and volunteers to different orthotic devices that can support mobility, improve alignment, and help people move more comfortably.
We also shared how suitable footwear, insoles, and support devices can make a meaningful difference in everyday movement.
Through our conversations, we realised that many people were not aware of how orthotics could support them in their daily lives.
A small change in the right equipment may help reduce discomfort, improve stability, and give someone greater confidence when walking.
For us, healthcare outreach is not only about presenting medical devices.
It is about helping people understand the solutions available to them and how those solutions may improve their quality of life.
We are grateful for the opportunity to engage with the community and raise awareness about the importance of mobility support.
Because sometimes, one small adjustment can make every step feel more comfortable.
