Talk about serendipity.. sometimes our network of friends, partners, supporters can just throw you an unexpected connection and magic happens..
Received a call at 8pm last week from our Taiwan handball friend saying that a Taiwanese sports supplier was heading into Singapore, arriving at midnight and was here just for a quick 2D1N stopover to drop off some apparel for a Taiwanese basketball team in SG.. he asked if we were free to pick up this sports supplier and perhaps we could chat and who knows what could happen?
We picked up at 12am, had supper at 1am and talked till 3am with a further discussion in our office the next day.. Ideas flowed and both parties realised we were in the business a similar number of years, were of a similar scale and our visions were aligned.. and in that whirlwind 2 days, 3 meetups and multiple coffees (we were all very tired) we struck a co-branding collaboration agreement to work exclusively with each other to promote our brands to Asia Pacific and beyond, sharing best practices and products!
Within 2 days, our first co-branded product underwent production and will arrive in SG just ahead of our National Handball Team's overseas tour to Uzbekistan this Monday!
Excited to see what both parties can do and ride the wave of collaboration to scale new heights! Like the old saying goes: "If you want to go fast, go alone but if you want to go far, go together"!
15 years in the business and we feel we've never been more ready to scale further!
