It’s time to show you my latest work! Back in early January I received an amazing and interesting offer by one young and very talented Slovenian photographer - Ksaver Šinkar
I was in charge of clothes and Ksaver was in charge of photography, of course. Because his exhibition is talking about his critical view at the future of humanity he imagined a little different looks that would be expected. So he asked me if I can make clothes from plastic materials, like polyvinyl, construction foil. For now I am already adjusted that my works are more and more time connected with atypical materials and not that much with traditional fabric, so I accepted this interesting challenge.
Raincoats are made form construction foil (used for covering construction material) and colorful plastic tablecloths, which are intended for covering garden tables. With plastic clothes Ksaver wanted to present human equality against the powerful nature, although the differences between the social classes are still presented.
Here are some sneak peak photos, which were take during the shooting. To look at selected photos, you’ll have to visit his exhibition, which is taking place on the walls of Mernetalerjeva hiša. You have time till end of February. Don’t’ missed it!
