At the top of the hill, St. George’s Church watches over the town and the Adriatic below. Every corner here carries a piece of Piran’s Venetian past, while Tartini Square, named after the town’s most famous son, violinist and composer Giuseppe Tartini, stands at its very heart.

The Palace Garden was in full bloom yesterday, and we are not just talking about the roses.

Guests of all ages, side by side, capturing the roses and blooms right in front of them — unhurried, present, and completely in the moment. Yesterday’s art class in the Palace Garden was one of those evenings that reminded us how beautiful simple things can be.
