Merino wool is incredibly soft and comfortable against your skin. Merino fibres are 14.5 microns thin compared to average human hair thickness of around 100 microns. Perfect for long days on the trail.

Great day of prototyping. This one will be very special. And yes, it will take some time for the bulk production but we can't wait to get this into the works.

All our products are developed and prototyped in our studio in West Cork and then properly tested to be sure that the design and choice of materials works well before getting them into bulk production. We care for the functionality and performance of our garments and want you to get the best experience wearing them while keeping our planet cleaner. We carefully source environmentally friendly fabrics with the best technical properties. All the little details are important. It is enjoyable process!

Our Merino base layer is made of 100% Merino wool of midweight 190gsm to keep you very comfortable all year round.

Merino is the world’s finest wool and feels soft and lightweight, an ideal material for a base layer. Not only for its soft feel, but it is an incredibly thermoregulating. It offers excellent warmth for weight and thanks to its breathability, it is able to release warmth as needed to prevent overheating and it keeps you cool when conditions heat up. Merino can absorb up to 30% of its weight in moisture and still maintain its ability to insulate, keeping you dry, warm and cosy. It is also naturally moisture-wicking, so it is able to draw perspiration away from the skin so you stay dry when working up a sweat. Merino is naturally antibacterial which provides odour resistance. Because merino resists odour, bacteria and stains, you don’t need to wash it as often or as rigorously as synthetics. Airing your merino overnight will usually freshen it for the following day. Thanks to its fine fibre, merino wool is incredibly elastic and able to retain its shape.

The many natural benefits of merino wool - its moisture wicking, insulating, temperature regulating, odour resistant, breathable and elastic qualities - provide exceptional comfort and protection in the outdoors. It is an ideal base layer in your functional outdoor clothing.

So nice to hear these words from our customer: "The pants are so comfy - I wear them for everything and I can always trust I'll be dry and warm! Trips to town, walking the baby, garden work, as well as more typical adventures where I might expect to wear waterproof pants"
Also to do something nice for our planet, we use recycled polyester to produce these.
