We believe that migrants and refugees fleeing violence and poverty deserve to be treated with dignity and respect, not put in cages or have their families ripped apart. It is abhorrent to use deliberate cruelty as an expedient to avoid this obligation. We are donating 100% of profits from our Torogóz earrings and 15% of proceeds from all other products to RAICES Texas

El Salvador, despite it’s tropical beauty and people of astounding warmth and hospitality, is best known for its economic stagnation, high poverty, and breathtaking rates of violent crime. It is a country of little opportunity and much violence, especially for residents of the poor areas. To help, we partner with local organizations to hire our team from populations in poor communities with high levels of gang violence to give them a second chance at a dignified life. Each employee receives a living wage, pension, healthcare and skills training. In this way we try to contribute, even just a little, to breaking the cycle of poverty and violence. Our native Central America is a place of spectacular natural beauty. With each collection we seek to deepen our connection to nature by incorporating plant, animal, and floral motifs into our prints, textures, volumes, and cuts. We Design Garments With Individuality
We seek to design truly original garments for women with sophisticated tastes. We like to keep things interesting with hand-embroidered embellishments, asymetrical cuts, unexpected volumes, and unique prints. We make garments that command attention without screaming for it, worn by women confident enough to show their individuality.
