A partnership between Fashion Accessory Makers of the Philippines & Leather & Hide Council of America, we enjoin Students from schools, universities & fashion/arts schools, from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao, to design a single piece of fashion item from one of three categories i.e. Apparel, Accessories and Footwear -- using
50% genuine Philippine leather &
50% Philippine natural or indigenous material.

This competition is made possible by the Department of Trade and Industry together with the Philippine Footwear Federation, Inc., and co-hosted by Zapateria.

The competition is a celebration of the Filipino Identity through creative ingenuity for a sustainable future. Bearing the title “DisHenyo” or Design Genius, FFDC 2022 encompasses creative footwear design with strong Filipino Representation and practice of sustainability.
