ธูปฤาษี (Cattail) เป็นวัชพืชทางธรรมชาติที่ชอบขึ้นในพื้นที่ชุ่มน้ำ เเละโล่งเเจ้ง เนื่องจากธูปฤาษีสามารถเจริญเติบโตเเละเเพร่กระจายได้อย่างรวดเร็ว ส่งผลกระทบให้เกิดปัญหาหลายๆด้าน ทั้งด้านนิเวศวิทยา ด้านเศรษฐกิจ และด้านสภาพเเวดล้อม ซึ่งในธูปฤาษีมีเส้นใย (fiber) ถึงร้อยละ40 สามารถนำมาผลิตเป็นเส้นใยทำผ้าทอได้ จึงได้มีเเนวคิดที่จะออกเเบบเครื่องเเต่งกายสตรีประเภทครัเอทีฟเเวร์ (Creative Wear) ให้มีความสวยงามเกิดรูปเเบบใหม่ๆ เเละโดดเด่น
