ทำไมกางเกงยีนส์ “ริมบิด” ?

หลายคนเห็นแล้วตกใจ “เอ้า ทำไมตะเข็บมันหมุน ?” , “กางเกงบิดแบบนี้ งานไม่ดีรึเปล่า ?” แต่สำหรับคนเล่นยีนส์บางคน นี่แหละ…เสน่ห์ 😄

จริงๆแล้วอาการ “ริมบิด” หรือ Leg Twist มักเกิดจากธรรมชาติของผ้ายีนส์ โดยเฉพาะผ้าทอแบบดั้งเดิม เมื่อใส่ไปเรื่อยๆ + ผ่านการซัก แรงตึงของเส้นด้ายจะค่อยๆคลายตัว ทำให้ตะเข็บด้านข้าง “หมุน” เข้ามาด้านหน้า

ฟังดูเหมือนข้อเสีย แต่ในโลกของ raw denim มันคือร่องรอยของการใช้งานจริง ไม่มีตัวไหนบิดเหมือนกัน 100% เหมือนรอยเฟดที่เกิดจากชีวิตประจำวันของแต่ละคน บางคนชอบยีนส์ที่ “เนี้ยบ” บางคนกลับชอบยีนส์ที่ “มีชีวิต”

• “Wait… is this a defect?”
• “Why is the seam moving to the front?”

But for many denim enthusiasts , that twist is actually part of the charm 😄

What people call “leg twist” often comes naturally from traditional denim fabrics , especially raw or shuttle-loom woven denim.

As the jeans are worn and washed over time , the tension in the yarn begins to relax , causing the side seam to slowly rotate.

It may sound imperfect , but in the world of raw denim , these imperfections tell a story.

No two pairs twist exactly the same . Just like fades , they reflect the lifestyle of the person wearing them.

• Some people love clean and perfect jeans.
• Others prefer denim with character and life.

At the end of the day , it’s not always about perfection.
