«យើងមិនចាំបាច់ត្រូវមើលឃើញកាំជណ្ដើរទាំងអស់ ទើបអាចឈានជំហានដំបូងនោះទេ»
ពាក្យទាំងនេះបានបង្ហាញផ្លូវនាងខ្ញុំឆ្លងកាត់ឱកាសជាច្រើននៅពេលផ្លូវខាងមុខហាក់មិនប្រាកដប្រជា។ ថ្ងៃនេះនាងខ្ញុំចង់ចែករំលែកនូវការពិតដែលពាក្យពេចន៍ទាំងនេះសំខាន់ចំពោះនាងខ្ញុំ។
ពីមុនពិភពនាងខ្ញុំគឺផ្តោតជុំវិញគ្រួសារ ក្នុងនាមជាភរិយានិងជាម្តាយ បីបាច់កូន មើលថែទាំផ្ទះសម្បែង ខណៈលួចចិញ្ចឹមចិត្តដែលស្រឡាញ់វិស័យសិល្បៈដោយស្ងៀមស្ងាត់។ នាងខ្ញុំមិនដឹងថាឆន្ទៈស្រឡាញ់នោះនឹងនាំនាងខ្ញុំទៅដល់ណា ឬក៏ជណ្តើរនៅខាងមុខនឹងបង្ហាញកាំនីមួយៗយ៉ាងដូចម្តេចនោះទេ។
នាងខ្ញុំមិនអាចមើលឃើញកំពូលខាងលើនោះទេ។ ប៉ុន្តែនាងខ្ញុំមើលឃើញកាំនៅខាងមុខនាងខ្ញុំ។ ហើយទីបំផុតនាងខ្ញុំក៏បានសម្រេចចិត្តបោះជើងជាន់លើកាំដំបូងហើយឈានឡើង។
ពីមួយកាំទៅមួយកាំ បាននាំដំណើរផ្លូវនាងខ្ញុំមកដល់ទីនេះ ក្នុងនាមជាប្រធានសមាគមសិល្បករខ្មែរ ដោយនាំមកជាមួយនូវទំនួលខុសត្រូវដែលនាងខ្ញុំមិនដែលគិតស្មានដល់។
នោះជាអ្វីដែលនាងខ្ញុំបានរៀន៖
- យើងមិនចាំបាច់ទាល់តែមើលឃើញជណ្ដើរគ្រប់កាំនោះទេ។
- យើងមិនចាំបាច់ទាល់តែមើលឃើញភាពប្រាកដប្រជាពេកនោះទេ។
- យើងត្រូវការតែភាពក្លាហានដើម្បីបោះជំហានទៅមុខជាបន្តបន្ទាប់។
ព្រោះគ្រប់ជំហានដែលយើងបានឈានដើរ ជណ្ដើរនឹងបង្ហាញកាំជាបន្តបន្ទាប់ដោយខ្លួនឯង។
ចំពោះបងប្អូនស្ត្រីដែលកំពុងអានសារនេះ មិនថាដំណើរផ្លូវរបស់អ្នកនៅទីណាក៏ដោយ សូមកុំខ្លាចបោះជំហាន ជឿជាក់លើខ្លួនឯង ហើយបន្តឈានឡើងទៅជានិច្ច។

“We do not need to see the whole staircase to take the first step.”
These words have guided me through moments when the path ahead felt uncertain. Today, I want to share what they truly mean to me.
There was a time when my world was centered around my family—being a mother, caring for my home, and quietly nurturing my passion for the arts. I didn’t know where that passion would lead, or how the staircase ahead would unfold.
I couldn’t see the top.
But I could see the step in front of me.
And I chose to take it.
Step by step, that journey led me here—serving as President of the Khmer Artists Association, carrying a responsibility I once could not have imagined.
That is what I’ve learned:
- We don’t need to see the whole staircase.
- We don’t need certainty.
- We only need the courage to take the next step.
Because with every step we take, the staircase slowly reveals itself.
To every woman reading this:
Wherever you are in your journey—take the step. Trust yourself. And keep climbing.
