An equinox is commonly regarded as the instant of time when the plane of Earth’s equator passes through the center of the Sun. This occurs twice each year, March equinox (21st – 23rd) and September (21st – 23rd).

Moreover, Angkor equinox is a phenomenon when the sun rises behind the pinnacle central of the Angkor Wat temple. The event has attracted many national and international tourists come to Siem Reap to this rare phenomenon and take wonderful pictures as a souvenir of their visit to the ancient temple during this special event.
