태국 장인의 손기술을 잇는 핸드크래프트 브랜드
태국과 아시아 각지 장인들의 손끝에서 태어난 공예품에 대한 애정에서 출발한 브 랜드, Fimue(피므)는 사라져가는 전통 손기술을 현대적인 감각으로 되살리기 위 해 노력합니다.
'ฝีมือ (피므)'는 태국어로 '손기술, 장인'을 뜻합니다. 이름 그대로, Fimue의 모든 제품은 기계가 아닌 사람의 손끝에서 완성됩니다.
대표 제품인 버팔로호른 빗은 기원전 4000년경부터 이어져 온 천연 소재로 만들 어져요. 화학 성분이 전혀 없어 두피에 부담이 적고, 태국의 고산족·시골 마을 장 인들이 세대를 이어 손으로 하나하나 깎아 완성합니다.

🎀Mother-of-pearl dessert fork

The mother-of-pearl spoon is mainly used as a caviar spoon, but it is good for desserts with a light texture such as yogurt or pudding, and as a jam/butter spoon.

It was made without any other processing other than polishing to shine using natural mother-of-pearl.
Therefore, depending on the original shape of the mother-of-pearl, the surface may not be smooth and the colors may mix.

Handmade products vary slightly in shape and color.

Inspired by the butterfly-shaped metal ornaments found on traditional Korean butterfly cabinets from the Joseon Dynasty, we have created a new butterfly motif in mother-of-pearl.
These cabinets were often used as wedding furniture, and the butterfly motif symbolized marital harmony, love, and happiness. Beyond its decorative beauty, the metal ornament also served a practical purpose, functioning as a hinge or reinforcing the joints of the furniture.
Reinterpreted in mother-of-pearl, Fimue’s butterfly ornament can be worn as a brooch or used as a decorative tray for jewelry and small accessories.
A small piece of Korean heritage, thoughtfully reimagined through the beauty of mother-of-pearl.

조선시대 나비장의 나비 모양 금속 장식에서 영감을 받아, 자개로 새로운 나비 모티브 장식을 제작했습니다.
나비장은 주로 혼례 가구로 사용되었으며, 나비 문양은 부부의 화합과 애정, 행복을 상징했습니다. 장식적인 아름다움뿐 아니라 경첩의 역할을 하거나 가구의 이음새를 보강하는 실용적인 기능도 지니고 있었습니다.
피므는 이러한 전통적인 나비 장식을 자개소재로 재해석했습니다. 브로치로 착용하거나 주얼리와 작은 액세서리를 놓는 장식 트레이, 헤어 악세서리로 활용할 수 있습니다.

Our Fimue collection is now on display at Sela Chiang Mai SELA , with many new pieces recently added. ✨

Located in Chiang Mai, Sela is a boutique hotel inspired by the elegance of Indochina’s colonial era. With just 14 rooms and suites, each space has its own character — from the layout and furniture to the carefully chosen objects and antiques that fill the room. Every detail comes together to create a distinctive sense of timeless, classical beauty.

Sela was created around the concept of “A Hotel for Writers.” True to its name, every room is thoughtfully equipped with a desk, pencils, pens, writing paper, envelopes, postcards, and stamps — inviting guests to slow down, discover something, and leave a few words behind.

The hotel also has a beautiful library and hall, filled with stories, objects, and little details that spark curiosity and literary inspiration.

We’re very happy to have Fimue’s collection in such a thoughtful space.

buffalo horn hair pin

A buffalo horn hairpin is made from a natural material with a firm yet flexible resilience, allowing it to hold hair securely without placing excessive tension on the scalp. Its smoothly polished surface slides easily through the hair, helping reduce breakage and discomfort even with prolonged wear.

Because buffalo horn generates very little static, it helps keep hair smooth and controlled rather than frizzy. Over time, the surface develops a natural sheen through use, and variations in color and grain make each hairpin unique.
