eir face, Thailand certainly lives up to the countries abbreviation LOS ( Land of Smiles ).My wife wanted to start a small business and after a lot of head scratching we though it would be nice to share some of the fantastic Hill tribe ( Hmong ) products and decided to set up this website. Native ( Hmong ) Thai ProductsThe following picture shows you some of the stunning countryside and mountains around Chiang Mai and where most of these products are made. All the products listed here are handmade by Native Hmong tribes indiginous to Northern Thailand. Northern Hill tribes in the past were part of the O***m growing culture and to get them to move away from this practice they were encouraged to make traditional hand made handicrafts. This was an incentive by the Thai authorities and all the products you see are made under a fair trade agreement.
