A small tip that makes a big difference.
When shaping leg openings or armholes, many knitters decrease right at the edge. It works... but often leaves a jagged outline.
I prefer making the decreases one stitch in from the edge. That tiny detail creates a much smoother, cleaner curve.

🧶Knit to the last stitch. Leave it on the left needle and turn your work. Pass the first worked stitch over the unworked edge stitch. The decrease is now complete.

The Story of One Sweater | Part 1 🧶
Every knitting pattern starts with a swatch.
This isn't just a small piece of knitting. It's where I check the stitch pattern, test the fabric, and most importantly... measure the gauge.
For this sweater, the gauge changed after washing and blocking. If I had written the pattern using the unwashed swatch, the finished measurements would have been wrong, and your sweater wouldn't fit as intended.
That's why I always ask you to knit a large swatch, using all the stitch patterns from the design. Wash it, block it, let it dry completely, and only then measure your gauge.
It takes a little extra time, but it can save you from knitting an entire sweater in the wrong size.
