will be available in early September, just in time for autumn knitting!

Another design inspired by the Avatar the last airbender lore, and tells a story about the balance of light and peace & darkness and chaos. ☯️

I feel like “changing the colors during short rows” needs a tutorial video since it’s a little bit a tricky technique!

I’m using this to shape the sleeve cap of the tee I’m currently designing for . Working with Trill yarn in Phoenix🐦‍🔥 and Flamingo🦩 colors together 😍

But you can use this technique anywhere you need to shape your work with German short rows while maintaining your stripes nicely. 🤗

Save this reel until the pattern launch, you will need it 😉

Happy Sunday 🥰

Throwing back to last February, just before I sent my finished sample to Laine Publishing for issue 30. It was cold and icy. ❄️

I was working on during my move to Berlin in last winter. So it was a bit chaotic times but it was also super fun and exciting to work on this project.

Yarn I used is John Arbon Textiles Appledore DK. 🧶🩵

It was quite a challenge for me to work short rows while maintaining the two-color stripes 🫠 I honestly don’t know how many times I started over 😂

Not sure why It was so difficult to understand but in the end I managed to get a nice shape for the sleeves and I think it actually not that difficult.

Have you worked short rows in a striped pattern?

But anyways, after getting stuck on the sleeves, I can finally make some good progress 🤞

I’m super excited to finally share this news with you! 🤩

My design, Offbeat, is featured in Laine Publishing Issue 30 alongside so many amazing designers, and I couldn’t be happier and prouder! ✨ Once again, it was pleasure to work with the wonderful Laine team. 🤍

Pre-orders for Issue 30 are now open, and you can see the pattern previews on Laine’s website and Ravelry. 🤗

I’ll be sharing more details about the design over the upcoming days! 😍

Offbeat is a generous scarf worked in Brioche comes in 2 sizes and features colour blocks. It creates a sense of harmony through elements that are slightly “offbeat” rather than perfectly matched.

I used Appledore DK from John Arbon Textiles in the colours Tom Putt & Winter Stubbard. I’m literally in love with the yarn and this colour combo!

A huge thank you to the Laine team and John Arbon for making it possible for me to create Offbeat. And, of course, many thanks to the tech editor Amelia and all of my amazing test knitters for their support throughout my journey ❤️
