Düşleyen İstanbul
İstanbul’a dair 7 desenden oluşan bir seri kartpostaldır. Kız Kulesi, Galata Kulesi gibi ikonik yapıları, kentsel mekanı ve sokak kedilerini tek renk, elektrik mavi, betimler. Mekanlar da canlılar da kent ve sayfiye arasında kararsız görünümdedir. Kuleler megapolün ezici dişlilerinde yutulmaktan, kırsalı düşleyerek ve açık denize meylederek sıyrılır. Kediler, benzersiz maharetleriyle gökdelenler ile sayfiye imgeleri arasında düşsel seyirdedir. Rüzgarın uğultusunu duyuran ağaç ve yapraklar ise biz kentli fanilerin yol düşlerini sesler.
“Dreaming Istanbul” is a series of postcards composed of seven patterns inspired by Istanbul. Iconic landmarks such as the Maiden’s Tower and the Galata Tower, along with urban spaces and street cats, are depicted in a single color — electric blue. Both places and living beings appear suspended in uncertainty, caught between the city and the countryside. The towers evade being swallowed by the crushing gears of the мегаполис by dreaming of rural landscapes and leaning toward the open sea. Cats, with their unique agility, drift effortlessly in a routine, dreamlike journey between skyscrapers and images of summer retreats. Trees and leaves, carrying the murmur of the wind, voice the travel dreams of us urban mortals.
