Phase 1 of IP Cam Setup, didn't take a ton of pix, I didn't do the site visit and scope assessment.
In these situations, planning and contingencies get flipped on it's head estimated time of completion goes out the door.

I would say from a professional standpoint to folks who are interested in adding cameras to their homes.
1. If your home has zero ceiling access, has a number of Reno works and additions, WIreless is your option, bounded media carries installation cost up a lot.

2. If your home is 20+ years old, again wireless.

But we are here now and we will deliver.

Tested out the Repair Bag equipment 2 Saturdays ago.

-Cost effective brand, and you feel it in build quality.

-Performance I will hold on to my thoughts as it is 12 Volts impact driver and I acquired for work on heights and small spaces.

- Battery life seems good, but I haven't put it to a full late night project, again it's purpose is for my repair bag, heights and small spaces.

- The USB Charging capability is a win, means I can get a quick charge anywhere without having to tote around a specialized charging bay.

- Thus far l, a decent EDC (Every Day Carry)

Will have more as time goes by, early days still.

Sunday IP Cams Shenanigans.
Haven't done a ceiling pull in a while, I haven't been the greaseman (guy who pulLs cable through small spaces).

Tip from the Experience:
- If choosing a NVR solution, go for the NVR without the built in PoE ports. They scale better, especially when you upgrade or increase cameras,

- An App managed IP system checks all the boxes and I have a supplier for very reasonable PoE switches managed and unmanaged.

- If your property has no ceiling access or not modernly designed, best bet is a wireless solution, with the right setup, it actually is much cheaper as well, no wall busting, miles of trunking and conduits and zero wiring. Powering the cameras can be solved by proper planning and rollout of camera positioning or using the solar power enable devices or rechargeable batteries. Have a free consultation, we can figure it out.

Technicians and Installers out there.
I know removals if any setups is seen as a quick dollar job, but i urge you to be just a systematic and methodical in removing as in installing.
Think of your fellow tradesmen, please and thanks. Also you never know, you may be the one who is called to re-install at some point.
