I’m often asked about waking up at 5am. It’s something that comes very naturally to me, but I sometimes worry that people think it’s the secret to success.

There’s a lot of noise out there telling people how to live their lives and be successful. Rigid routines, relentless hustle. I sometimes feel uncomfortable to think my morning routine is adding to the noise!

The reality is you need to find a routine that works for you and your life.

The pressure pushed by hustle culture and some corners of the internet is trying to turn success into a one-size-fits-all formula. A formula that will more likely lead to burnouts than breakthroughs.

Work hard, absolutely. But also work smart, take care of yourself, and create a rhythm that’s sustainable. The best routine is the one that helps you feel your best.
