「台灣區玩具工業同業公會」於1967年成立,致力於開創台灣玩具產業更美好的遠景,為擴大服務兒童用品廠商,公會於2004年4月更名為「台灣區玩具暨兒童用品工業同業公會」。2017年12月屆滿五十週年,為了讓公會名稱與會員銷售品項更貼切符合,並因應所提供服務業務擴大之發展需要,再更名為「台灣區玩具暨孕嬰童用品工業同業公會」迄今。
由於近年來,外在大環境的改變,企業經營挑戰日益艱鉅,因此各項業務的推動主軸,都鎖定於協助玩具及孕嬰童用品廠商提升經營管理體質、提升產品研發能力、加強行銷拓展市場。
服務項目
1.協助會員拓展外銷市場
整合會員組團參加國際重要的展會(如:香港玩具及嬰兒用品展、德國科隆嬰幼兒服飾用品展、台北禮品暨文具展、CBME上海孕嬰童展、日本嬰童用品暨玩具展、美國玩具展等 …),協助會員廠商以台灣
形象區(Taiwan Pavilion)整體裝潢,聯合廣宣造勢,並向經濟部國際貿易局申請補助經費回饋廠商。
2. 協助會員拓展內銷市場
每年與揆眾展覽公司合辦國內展覽,如2020年於7、8、10月及元旦檔期,於台北、台中及高雄等地舉辦「玩具、婦幼用品大展暨兒童博覽會」。持續在展會中增加產品體驗及互動,帶動展會服務品質的全面提升。公會會員廠商更可用優惠價格參展。
3.分析與分享產業資訊
透過參加亞洲及全球玩具業重要會議、展會、及利用國內外產官學界交流機會,收集市場、研發、境外投資、行銷、智財權、安全檢驗、貿易機會等資訊,透過「玩具暨孕嬰童用品通訊電子報」、「玩具暨孕嬰童用品採購指南」、「展覽公報」等出版品,以及官方網站、E-mail等不同管道分享給會員。
4.成為政府與業界溝通橋樑
將經濟部國際貿易局、經濟部標準檢驗局、中小企業處、工業局等政府相關單位發佈之重要法規、安規、企業輔導、會議活動等資訊即時轉知給會員。此外,針對業界在銷售、貿易、商品檢驗等各方面的需求和困境,公會以聯署活動、問卷調查等方式,向政府單位反應實情,共同尋求解決之道。另外也與標準檢驗局、
台灣玩具暨生活用品研發檢測中心合作各項玩具及嬰兒用品安全宣導活動。
5.申請政府輔導與補助
由公會主導向政府單位、如資策會、工業局、國貿局及縣市政府等申請專案補助,協助會員廠商產業升級、人材培訓或拓銷市場。例如2019年和資策會合作「中小企業資訊創新升級計畫—STEAM玩具檢核機制設計暨驗證」專案、2020年與經濟部工業局合作「傳統產業創新研發--主題式研發計畫」專案補助與輔導等。
6.促進異業與同業合作機會
本會的會員廠商產品包含玩具、婦幼用品及文具禮品等類別,有代工廠、品牌商、製造商、貿易商、批發商、進口商、零售業、原料商、設計公司、檢測單位等多樣業態,透過公會的媒介,能增加許多同業合作的機會,會員廠商需要其它異業的合作機會,如電腦資訊、運動用品…等等,也常透過公會做轉介。
7.產業論壇與人才培訓
每年與各界專業機構及廠商舉辦多場創新論壇活動,安排專業師資課程協助培訓產業人才,提升廠商在電子商務、產品研發設計、創新技術、市場行銷、環保安規等競爭力。例如「2020年創新玩具暨孕嬰童用品論壇」、「2019年STEAM玩具工作坊」,「2021清華幼兒STEAM師資培訓研習工作坊」等專題講座及研習、吸引許多廠商參加。
8.舉辦同業聯誼活動
每年3月舉辦會員大會,提供新會員和老會員互相認識及聯絡感情的交流機會。並定期舉辦聯誼活動,以利會員廠商彼此分享資訊,並促進商業合作的機會。

The Taiwan Toy Industry Association was established in 1967 and is committed to creating a better future for the toy industry in Taiwan. The name of the association was changed to " Taiwan Toy & Children’s Article Manufacturers Association
" in 2017 to better match the members’ business and to meet the needs of the expansion of the services provided. Due to the changes in the external environment in recent years and the increasing challenges, the main focus of our business is to assist toy and maternity products manufacturers to improve their business management, enhance their product development capabilities, and strengthen their marketing and market expansion. Services
1.Develop export markets
Integrate members to participate in important international exhibitions (e.g., Hong Kong Toy & Baby Show, Germany KIND+JUGEND, Taipei Gift & Stationery Show, CBME Shanghai, Japan Baby & Toy Show, USA Toy Fair, etc.) We also help member companies to apply for subsidies from the Bureau of International Trade, Ministry of Economic Affairs.
2. Expand the domestic market
For example, in 2020, we held the "International Mommy & Baby Exhibition” in Taipei, Taichung, and Kaohsiung during July, August, October, and New Year's Day. We continue to increase product experience and interaction in the exhibition to enhance the overall quality of exhibition services. Our members can also participate in the fair at preferential prices.
3.Analysis and sharing of industry information
Through participation in major conferences and exhibitions in the toy industry in Asia and around the world, as well as meetings with domestic and overseas industry, government, and academia, we collect information on the market, R&D, overseas investment, marketing, intellectual property rights, safety inspection, trade opportunities, etc., and share them with our members through various channels such as the "Toy & Maternity Products Newsletter", "Toy & Maternity Products Sourcing Guide" and "Exhibition Bulletin", as well as the official website, Facebook and e-mail. Share with members.
4.Be a bridge between the government and the industry
We inform our members of important policies, programs, regulations, safety rules, meetings, and events issued by the Bureau of International Trade, Ministry of Economic Affairs, Bureau of Standards and Inspection, Ministry of Economic Affairs, Small and Medium Enterprises Division, and Industrial Development Bureau. In addition, if our members meet difficulties of sales, trade, and commodity inspection, we will respond to government agencies with joint activities and questionnaire surveys to seek solutions. In addition, we also work with the Bureau of Standards and Inspection, the Taiwan Toy Products Research and Testing Center in various toy and baby product safety promotion activities.
5.Apply for government counseling and subsidies
The Association takes the lead in applying for grants from government agencies, such as the Institute for Information Industry, Industrial Development Bureau, Bureau of International Trade, and county and municipal governments, to assist our members in upgrading their products, human resources, or expanding their markets. For example, in 2019, the Association cooperated with Institute for Information Industry on the "SME Information Innovation and Upgrading Program - STEAM Toy Verification Mechanism Design and Validation" project, and in 2020, the Association cooperated with the Industrial Development Bureau of the Ministry of Economic Affairs on the "Traditional Industry Innovation and R&D - Theme-based R&D Program" project grant and counseling.
6. Promote cross-industry cooperation opportunities
The products of our members include toys, women's and children's products, stationery and gifts, etc. There are OEMs, brand owners, manufacturers, traders, wholesalers, importers, retailers, raw material suppliers, design houses, testing centers, etc. Through our services, we increase many opportunities for cooperation with other industries, such as computer information, sporting goods, etc.
7. Host Industry Forum and Talent Training
Every year, we organize innovation forums with professional organizations and manufacturers and arrange professional courses to help train industrial talents to enhance the competitiveness of our members in e-commerce, product development, and design, innovative technology, marketing, and environmental protection regulations. For example, the "2020 Innovative Toys and Maternity Products Forum", "2019 STEAM Toy Workshop", and "2021 Tsinghua STEAM Teacher Training Workshop" attracted many manufacturers to participate.
8. Organize networking activities
Every March, we hold a general meeting to provide opportunities for new members and old members to get to know each other and communicate with each other. Regular networking events are also held to facilitate information sharing and business cooperation among member companies.
