FOOYUU Hair Salon Interior Design — 2F

Ascending the stairs, the atmosphere begins with the grounded calm of solid wood, setting the tone for the mind as well—welcoming those who never compromise on how they choose to live.
On the second floor, each mirror station is where nature and man-made materials meet through time. The warmth of wood and the sharpness of metal find their balance here, like a handcrafted cyber forest. We explored coexistence between old and new: a vintage shoe rack turned upside down became the base of a steel cabinet, while an old American wooden cabinet found new life atop a stainless-steel platform. Joinery is no longer limited by material, but becomes a quiet collaboration between wood and metal. Some walls were intentionally left raw, even imperfect, because excessive neatness can feel lifeless. The marks left behind during demolition became the truest texture of the space.
Near the washroom, a geometric mirror interrupts the rhythm of the old window frames. As light moves across it, the space begins to breathe—like a painting in motion. We chose not to create a single photo spot, because when you truly love a place, you don’t fall for only one corner. In pursuing refined quality, we still wanted to protect a sense of human warmth. A quiet message to those who always hold themselves to a high standard: "Hey, how have you been lately?"
