🩺✨ Future Surgeons at Work!
What does it take to become a surgeon? This week, our young learners stepped into the operating room to find out!

From exploring the amazing human body to discovering why surgeries are needed, our students experienced the world of medicine through interactive, hands-on learning. They examined surgical tools, learned how operating room equipment keeps patients safe, and discovered the important roles of every member of the surgical team.

The highlight of the class was our simulated surgery! One student became the patient while the others worked together as surgeons to perform a mock operation on our surgical table. It was a fun, hands-on way to build teamwork, problem-solving, and confidence while exploring the fascinating world of medicine.

Who knows? We may have inspired the next generation of surgeons! 👨‍⚕️👩‍⚕️💙

【臺北市政府巴威颱風重要停班停課通知】

依據中央氣象署發布之颱風警報資訊，並依照《天然災害停止上班及上課作業辦法》相關規定，臺北市政府已於今（9）日晚間 8:00 公告：

明（7/10，星期五）臺北市各機關學校停止上班及上課。

因此，MLK 米家 7/10（五）全日停課一次，所有課程與活動將暫停辦理。

請爸爸媽媽與米寶貝們明日在家注意安全、避免不必要外出，並做好防颱準備。

🦎 “Masters of the Cold Blood: Discovering Reptile Types, Homes, and Adaptations” 🌿

Our young scientists stepped into the incredible world of reptiles—learning, exploring, and having so much fun along the way!

✨ What we explored:�• 🧠 Animal classifications & what makes reptiles unique�• 🥚 Oviparous vs. viviparous animals�• ❄️ Understanding cold-blooded creatures�• 🐍 Scaly skin & fascinating anatomy (with X-ray exploration!)�• 🏃‍♂️ How reptiles slither, crawl, and swim�• 🌿 Amazing adaptations like camouflage�• 🌍 Building habitats: desert, wetland, forest & rocky areas�• 🔄 Life cycles of turtles & snakes (egg → hatchling → juvenile → adult)�• 🦖 Discovering extinct reptiles like dinosaurs

🌟 The highlight:�Meeting real reptiles! The children got to safely observe and hold geckos and chameleons, experiencing their textures and movements up close—an unforgettable hands-on moment.
