Some seeds
are not planted in the soil.
Sometimes,
they are planted in the hearts of young designers.
Planted during a stage of exploration, growth, and possibility.
A few days ago, I had the opportunity to speak with students from the Department of Textiles and Clothing at Fu Jen Catholic University.
More than sharing design techniques,
I hoped to explore a question together:
How will the next generation of designers view their relationship with the world?
Over the years, I.A.N Design has continued to explore and test new possibilities through brand practice, material innovation, and sustainable design.
These experiences are not only valuable to our own journey,
but also worth sharing with the next generation entering the industry.
Because design is never only about clothing.
It is also about the land.
About a world that has moved from scarcity to abundance.
And about the future we choose to leave behind.
If one day,
these thoughts reappear in a project, a collection, or a design of their own,
then the seed
has already begun to grow.
My sincere thanks to the faculty of the Department of Textiles and Clothing at Fu Jen Catholic University for the invitation.
