✨ Yu-ying Chou and Tong Yang-Tze’s From Ink to Apparel Series Work Rich Is Now on View in Bologna, Italy ✨

JUST IN XX designer Yu-ying Chou’s work Rich from the From Ink to Apparel I series, created in collaboration with renowned contemporary calligraphy artist Tong Yang-Tze, is currently on view at Collezioni Comunali d’Arte, Palazzo d’Accursio in Bologna, Italy.

From Ink to Apparel is a cross-disciplinary exploration of calligraphy, fashion, and the human body. In this series, Tong Yang-Tze’s expressive brushwork moves beyond paper, inspiring fashion design and transforming into a contemporary artistic language that can be worn, walked in, viewed, and re-read.

We are deeply honored that Rich has been invited to participate in this exhibition. Our sincere thanks go to Professor Adriana Iezzi of the University of Bologna and the ERC WRITE Project for the invitation. We also extend our gratitude to the research team and students, who devoted nearly a year to in-depth research and exchange on interdisciplinary calligraphic art, with particular focus on Yu-ying Chou’s From Ink to Apparel fashion series.

✨ 周裕穎 × 董陽孜《讀衣》系列作品-《濃》現正於義大利波隆那展出 ✨

JUST IN XX 周裕穎與當代書法藝術家-董陽孜老師共同合作的《讀衣I》作品-《濃》，現正於義大利波隆那 Collezioni Comunali d’Arte, Palazzo d’Accursio 展出。

《讀衣》是一場關於書法、服裝與身體之間的跨界實驗。
董陽孜老師的筆墨不只停留於紙上，更能夠啟發服裝設計，轉化為能被穿著、行走、觀看與重新閱讀的當代藝術語言。

這次作品能夠受邀參展，我們特別感謝義大利波隆那大學 Adriana Iezzi 教授與 ERC WRITE project 的邀請，也感謝研究團隊與學生在書法跨界藝術研究中，特別關注於周裕穎設計師創作的《讀衣》服裝系列作品，共同耗時將近一年的時間進行深入研究與交流。

此次作品以「不剪裁」為核心方式，重新搭配並詮釋日本百萬婚禮服裝（打掛），透過跨文化與美學的激盪，探索日本和服在當代語境中的全新可能。

✦作品介紹
周裕穎表示，本次作品的核心概念，是將「台灣的感性」與「大正浪漫」相互融合，並以造型呈現一種跨越時代的氛圍。透過傳統和服與國際時尚觀點的交會與衝擊，為日本服裝注入嶄新的當代視角。
在人檯髮型設計上，周裕穎特別邀請台灣當代頂尖髮型師張汮宇為人檯設計髮型，加強時覺衝擊性，呈現國際感。
