Paper, mindfully nurtured. Founded in 2018, FENKO is a contemporary exten
sion of the Suho Paper Memorial Museum, built upon decades of material research and papermaking heritage. We see paper not as a fixed medium, but as an evolving material. Through appointment-based material selection, research, cross-disciplinary collaboration, and the development of living objects, we explore its role in contemporary life. At FENKO, paper is no longer confined to being seen or used. It can be worn, touched, integrated into space, and experienced through the body and daily rhythms. From conservation-grade materials and paper yarn textiles to brand collaborations and object design,
we focus on how material responds to time, environment, and human perception. FENKO operates as a “catalysis chamber,”
where disciplines meet and transform into new forms of expression. In an increasingly digital world,
we return to the material, bringing paper back into life.
