Iheartz collections iheartz collections is a platform for creative urban African music, fashion and design, located at Arusha Masai Cafe.

iheartz Collections is all about celebrating the creativity of urban African fashion and design. Our looks are colourful and bright with lush African prints and clear-cut patterns. We feature latest street styles and African materials as part of urban lifestyle, making it accessible to national as well as international customers. In the Iheartz project, we also feature upcoming Tanzanian designers, local music and extraordinary crafts. Our products are handmade in Arusha, Tanzania, and our materials produced or sourced locally. Iheartz Collections is an environmentally conscious brand that supports local production and value addition while minimizing waste in all steps of production. We are a fair clothing line: Our partners are freelance tailors and weavers from various economically disadvantaged backgrounds. We are very proud of our close and long standing relationships and our cooperation in all stages of the design, production and marketing process. We see our partners as our fashion agents with an ear to the ground and are happy to not only to increase their income but to also their capacity and self-confidence through being part of the Iheartz project.

Its time to say GOODBYE!

When we founded iheartz collections in 2014, we wanted to establish a social business that empowers small scale Tanzanian producers and enables them to market and sell their produce while innovating and improving their designs. The ultimate goal was to create a network of local producers that will prevail well beyond iheartz in the form of a sustainable business.

We are so proud of all we achieved in this time and were so happy to hand over the business into full Tanzanian ownership in 2016. That was our goal all along and we achieved it, thanks to our customers and all the amazing artisans/designers that participated in the iheartz experience.

Iheartz collections merged into Afrileo collections in 2016 - please support the wonderful Leonica Mgao, like her page and order with her. You can still purchase iheartz designs with her in the same great quality, design and customer service.
